Andrew Kulawiec, metrology product line manager for QED Technologies, describes the company's Aspheric Stiching Interferometer (ASI), a finalist for a 2009 Prism Award for photonics innovation in the Analytical, Test and Measurement category. The Prism Awards are co-sponsored by Photonics Media/Laurin Publishing and SPIE and presented during SPIE Photonics West in January.
